Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Tania’s Pet Care LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By booking services, submitting payment, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

Services Provided

Tania’s Pet Care LLC provides professional pet care services by appointment and subject to availability, which may include:

Dog walking and drop-in visits

In-home pet sitting and overnight stays

Feeding, fresh water, and basic routine care

Medication administration when agreed in advance

Booking and Payment

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Deposits may be required for extended or holiday bookings.

Accepted payment methods may include online processors or other approved methods.

Unpaid balances may result in cancellation of scheduled services.

All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the cancellation policy below.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before service may qualify for rescheduling credit.

Cancellations made within 24–48 hours may be subject to a partial service charge.

Same-day cancellations may be charged in full.

Holiday bookings may require longer cancellation notice.

Tania’s Pet Care LLC may cancel services because of emergencies, unsafe conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.

Client Responsibilities

By booking services, you agree to:

Provide accurate contact, pet, medical, and behavioral information

Disclose any history of aggression or biting

Provide veterinarian and emergency-contact information

Provide safe, secure home access

Keep pets current on required vaccinations

Failure to disclose aggression, bite history, or serious medical conditions may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

Vaccination Requirements

Pets must be current on legally required and recommended vaccinations appropriate to their species. Tania’s Pet Care LLC may request proof and may refuse service when requirements are not met.

Emergency Veterinary Authorization

If a pet becomes ill or injured while under our care, Tania’s Pet Care LLC is authorized to contact the listed veterinarian, transport the pet to a clinic, and seek treatment reasonably considered necessary.

The client assumes full financial responsibility for veterinary expenses. While reasonable care will be taken, Tania’s Pet Care LLC is not liable for outcomes resulting from emergency medical treatment.

Liability Waiver

Pets may act unpredictably.

Tania’s Pet Care LLC is not liable for injury, illness, escape, death, or property damage unless caused by gross negligence.

Tania’s Pet Care LLC is not responsible for pets with undisclosed aggression or behavioral issues.

The client is responsible for injury or damage caused by their pet to people, animals, or property.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tania’s Pet Care LLC from claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or legal fees resulting from your pet’s actions.

Home Access and Property

Clients granting home access confirm that the environment is safe, pets are secured appropriately, and hazards have been disclosed.

Tania’s Pet Care LLC is not responsible for pre-existing property damage.

Tania’s Pet Care LLC is not responsible for acts of third parties.

Tania’s Pet Care LLC is not responsible for loss due to burglary unless caused by proven gross negligence.

Aggressive or Dangerous Animals

Tania’s Pet Care LLC may refuse or immediately end services if a pet displays aggression, poses a safety threat, or attempts to bite or attack. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

Force Majeure

Tania’s Pet Care LLC is not liable for failure to perform services because of events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, illness, or emergencies.

SMS Communication

By providing your phone number, you consent to service-related texts such as appointment confirmations, scheduling updates, emergency notices, and billing reminders. Message frequency may vary; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out.

Age Requirement and Website Use

Clients must be at least 18 years old to book services. Website content belongs to Tania’s Pet Care LLC and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Illinois law, Tania’s Pet Care LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Illinois law. Disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Illinois.

Changes to These Terms

Tania’s Pet Care LLC may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
